If your Modem is detecting sim cards and you are getting errors then do this
for XP
1 Control Panel -> Phone and Modem (found directly in control panel or in Printers and other hardware ) –> modem tab –> huawei mobile connect 3g modem (which is present on COM ) –> –> properties advance –> in extra initializing command use given commands and click OK
for windows 7
start menu -. type phone and modem — click on it—>modems –>huawei mobile connect 3g modem–properties–>change settings–>advance–>extra initialization command–>use given command
and if it ask for Country and area code then Country – India and Area Code – 91 and leave other blank

I downloaded software.
It asks for password. entered flash code twice. It’s the wrong password, so it says.
Am left with one chance.
what can I do?
have you updated the firmware successfully. after updating if its asks again for some code you have to enter the unlock code.. or else please you can use the cracked version of dc unlocker. remember to disable antivirus and your dashboard software before doing this
this version seems not to support Model: HUAWEI EC122.
Is their an alternative or am I suppossed to do something else or more.

use the cdma workshop to turn it back to non ruim or ruim if available mode. so when you insert sim you can use the sim. when you remove the sim you can use the subcriber service

Inside the data card there is a option to insert to other sim. but when i insert other sim it not working and it not asking for unlock code also. I tried through mobile partner software but it not working.

have you tried the firmware update method, if the firmware update method doesnt work you can use the cdma workshop to change the non ruim modem to ruim.

try converting your modem to ruim type. you can read the procedure. the procedure is originally for zte 8700 modem, but will work on other modems too. hope you will be able to do it after reading this post here

a power supply break in between firmware update can permanently damage your device. you must have been very cautious as said in th post. and also the warning message is shown in the updater window. you need to take it to a technician to see weather it can be fixed or not. bad day for you dude

you cant use gsm sim in a cdma device. you can use tata indicom or bsnl cdma in it by unlocking it. you can read about the post here. the post is about ac 8700 modem. the procedure is the same for every modem. you just need to change it to ruim if availabe.

you can unlock but its a very complicated procedure. youll have to solder and attach the sim tray onto it

It asks me for password when i try both FLASH and UNLOCK codes generated, they both failed. the device’s IMEI no# is 350123009876543, the flash code generated is 64073213 and unlock code generated is 33782920
64073213 is the password. it should have worked
I tried doing this on my new MTS Huawei EC122. Everything completed successfully, but to my horror, it will no longer connect to MTS networks. It doesnt show a signal at all. I tried switching mode to each of the 4 modes available in CDMA Workshop, but in none of them does the modem catch a signal. Now, when I try opening the MTS connection dashboard, the recharge and check balance options are greyed out and there are no signal bars.

a. The data card is not properly connected to PC.
b. Other program is using the data card.
c. You do not have the authority of the administrator.

well guys its a cdma modam so it dont have any imei it have esn number so this unlock code calculator is not made for this it can not work with this modam admin u should check out things befor posting here and one more thing it does not work for me in both way not able to update frimeware and other dashboard update also fail as it dont able to detect my device so what should i do i also have an other gsm modam huawei e303 wich have the imei but the code calculater genrated code dose not work for me with the code writer software it give error i cant use other sim on that modam and this huawei ec122 modam is cdma it also not able to get unlock what should i do know any advice ?
