make sure you have sufficient battery backup before starting the update. the updating process is very simple. just run the updater software by double clicking it. the update will start automatically.
if the updater asks for a password you can have the password generated using the steps below
- generating password

- download the huawei code generator sofware from here
- huawei code generator free download
- input the 16 digit iemi number of the ec 325 modem in the space provided and click calculate, iemi number can be found on the backside of your modem or inside the cover
- the application will generate two codes namely unlock code and flash code
- use the 8 digit flash code as your password

there is no imei no.and i have ec325hauwei modem with cdma and with nic plan and also it is having sim slot also,we can use it with cdma and by using sim also.

usually it is easily unlocked by firmware update method. if you have trouble in firmware update method read the post regarding the bsnl evdo. the steps are all the same for nic and evdo to unlock.

It never asked me for password…Is it unlocked
it wont ask password in every case. try different sim to know if it is unlocked

for internet access u have 2 upgrade ur CDMA sim dat is OMH Sim(Other Market Handset). Nw every CDMA company provides latest sim called OMH sim……………… go to store office submit ur documents wth old sim after dat they will give u New version Sim…..

you have to get new username and password and dialling number from tata indicom. call their customer care

Actually my huawei ec325 is belongs to reliance. i just unlock this while using frimware update. the tata indicom signal is coming. while connecting that its not connecting. i need the settings in profile connection

I downloaded the firmware updater and updated and unlocked my Huawei EC325 modem.But will you please tell me how to connect to the internet with the same modem? I have putted an Airtel sim card in that but I don’t know how to connect to the internet with the “Huawei Mobile Connect” software.Please help.Note :- An airtel sim is putted inside the modem and I have the Huawei mobile connect software which I was given with the modem.Please help.

EC325 is a CDMA modem…….. u cnt use airtel sim in dat……….. use Tata Docomo CDMA, Reliance CDMA, Virgin CDMA or MTS…………

you can only use cdma sims in ec 325. mobile partner for cdma modems are different. try using the tata indicom dahboard or the bsnl nic dashboard
