When I install this firmware upgrader it asks for a password ? What should I do ?
use the flash code as your password. to calculate the flash code use the huawei code calculator software or you can read the post here to understand how to get password. the below post is for i 173 the process is same for all modems

before some days i was try to unlock my huawei e1550 data card.i download firmware software.update software and unlocker software and try to unlock it but ooooooooooof.after restart my PC i saw that data card’s bios sotware change now it is no locked and no unlocked………how to reset plz helppppppppppppppppppppp….
if it was a powerdown while updation its hard to recover that modem. try doing firmware update again or take to some local mobile store

sir i am experiencing error when i diagnosed the connection of my huwaei e1550 the error is “your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource(dns server) is not responding”

try reinstalling the drivers. and try if problem exists when connecting from other pc
i have huvei e1550 net setter which is works on my laptop but if attched to the PC it contineuosly disconected what is the problem please HELP me.
try re installing the drivers. and also select network as cdma only or as gsm only. may be it is switching between gsm and 3g

if you are having 356 series version of firmware its best to take it to some mobile shop to unlock. because there is no working real unlock trick for latest firmware on the internet untill now

Hi . . . i have idea e1550 modem. I tried to unlock. By giving imei no. i generated the code. I entered the code.But it says “wireless . . . Update not working on it.” i closed that. And i installed HUAWEIUTPS11.302.09.06.209 . And mobile partner 11.302 also. Then when the stick is connected to pc, blue colour “MegaFon internet” box opens.
